The Participant Accident Insurance policy covers players (age 18 and under), coaches, trainers and managers injured in the course of a covered sports and recreational activity. It includes sponsored games, practices, and travel. Once a participant accident policy is issued, it will provide coverage for benefits subject to all of the terms, conditions, exclusions and limitations of the policy. There are numerous reasons and occasions for a sports organization to purchase a Participant Accident insurance policy.
